University (of Sedona) of Metaphysics

The University of Sedona is a private, post-secondary, distance learning, theological school operating under the auspices of the International Metaphysical Ministry (IMM). The IMM is a non-profit, religious exempt organization as designated by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States.

The curriculum of the University of Sedona is strictly non-secular and theological in nature in the holistic, transcendent, new thought, mystical and transpersonal branch of metaphysical theology.

In 2003 in the state of Arizona, the University of Sedona began its post-secondary studies under the same legal right as the University of Metaphysics.

The University of Metaphysics provides an accelerated undergraduate studies program. Thus, students enrolling in a Doctoral Program with the University of Sedona will receive their Bachelor’s Degree, Ministerial Ordination, Practitioner’s Diploma, and Master’s Degree finalizing with a Doctoral Degree through the University of Sedona.

In our credible graduate degree programs in metaphysics, inclusive of holistic, transcendent, new thought, theocentric, and transpersonal metaphysics, you’ll find broad-minded, essential, spiritual metaphysics topics in our curriculum that focus on awakening people to the Universal Presence, Source, or God guidance within them.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Metaphysical Science, B.Msc., program is through the University of Metaphysics and includes the Ordained Ministers Program. The program consists of 48 modules with 48 open-book exams. You have the option of being an active or non-active Minister with the International Metaphysical Ministry.

You also have the option to complete only the Bachelor’s Degree program along with the Ordained Minister’s program.

The Master’s Degree in Metaphysical Science, M.Msc., program is through the University of Metaphysics. The program consists of 18 modules with 18 open-book exams, and requires in addition the submission of a thesis with a minimum word count of 6,000 words. The thesis topic must relate to at least one of the curriculum subjects covered in either the Bachelor’s or Master’s modules. Students have access to and guidance from the Master’s Thesis Handbook, approved thesis samples on the website, and a Thesis Advisor when writing their thesis .

The Doctoral Program is completed through either The University of Metaphysics or the University of Sedona, depending on your selected specialty. Students have access to and guidance from the Doctoral Dissertation Handbook and approved dissertation samples on the website when writing the dissertation, as well as a Dissertation Advisor. There is no prescribed coursework for the Doctoral program, but the student selects a topic, researches and evaluates the relevant major sources, and submits a dissertation with a minimum word count of ten thousand words.
