The Colorado School of Public Health is built on the combined expertise and vision of faculty at three leading educational and research institutions: 1) University of Colorado Denver, 2) University of Northern Colorado and 3) Colorado State University. Our three universities collectively address issues of American Indian and Alaska Native health, diabetes and obesity prevention, cancer prevention and control, maternal and child health, global health, worker health and wellness, among other areas —all aspects of public holistic health education and research.
As a collaboration, the school operates at three campuses, with each campus connected to one of our three partner institutions:
- University of Colorado Denver’s CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora
- University of Northern Colorado’s campus in Greeley
- Colorado State University’s campus in Fort Collins
Although each campus offers a unique identity and student life experience, all Colorado School of Public Health students have access to renowned faculty, more than 150 public health courses, eight research centers, and a plethora of community partners and future employers.
Combined, the school incorporates all Colorado-based public health graduate education and research into a single school, guided under a single mission—To promote the mental, physical, environmental and social health of people and communities in the Rocky Mountain West and globally.
Our mission is to promote the physical, mental, social, and environmental health of people and communities in the Rocky Mountain Region and globally. The mission will be accomplished through collaborations in education, population-based research, and community service that bring together institutions, agencies, and diverse populations.
The Colorado School of Public Health (ColoradoSPH) will become one of the nation’s premier institutions for public health education and research, with top recognition for its work in selected areas and an outstanding reputation for delivering education, training, and service programs that are based in science, proven in practice, and adapted through creativity to meet pressing population health needs.
